Senior Advisor - Nordic Region and Industrials

Fredrik was appointed as a Senior Advisor in 2009. He has been involved with Candover’s Nordic portfolio since 2004, initially as Chairman of Thule, now exited, and since 2007 as Chairman of Hilding Anders. As senior advisor, his role is to support Candover’s initiatives in the Nordic region, as well as advising on existing and potential investments in the European Industrials sector.   We appointed him to the board of Italian-based Technogym in 2009, and more recently he has joined the board of Qioptoq as Executive Chairman.

Fredrik has an extensive senior executive track record, most recently as CEO and president of the Volvo Car Corporation, and before that as CEO at Trelleborg AB, PLM AB, Trelleborg Industrier AB and Boliden Kemi AB.
